Joe Cirulli (joe.cirulli[@]ghfc.com) is the founder and CEO of Gainesville Health & Fitness (GHF) located in Gainesville, Florida. GHF is one of the most well-known and respected health clubs in the world with more than 27,000 members across three sites: a 80,000 square foot club in the heart of Gainesville, a 25,000 square foot club in the Tioga Town Center, and a 14,000 square foot women-only center in Thornebrooke Village.
2018 marked the 40th year of business for GHF. Cirulli also shares ownership of two rehabilitation centers: ReQuest Physical Therapy and ReQuest Physical Therapy at Tioga with North Florida Regional Medical Center. He employs over 400 people among his Gainesville Health & Fitness Centers and ReQuest Physical Therapy locations.
Joe has focused his life on two things: helping people become healthy and building a company culture that inspires people to become their best. With an inspiring success story, Joe is invited to speak around the world sharing best business practices that have come from a lifetime of building his dream.
Never wavering in his vision or efforts despite adversity—from working for companies that went bankrupt to living on his last 12 cents in his car—Joe’s quest always has been to inspire human potential. At 24, he started Gainesville Health & Fitness with only $1,700!
In this podcast, Joe talks about his business journey, how to overcome life/business challenges, how he turned his last 12 cents into a thriving fitness center, fundamentals of running an HIT business, and much more.
