Hi Lawrence
Interesting podcast.
I can relate to the fact that he trains his clients from home and his comment that no one really knows what he’s doing. That’s really similar to my own situation. My garden easily hides 50sq mtrs of gym where I train my clients. And nobody in the immediate area really knows what I do.
Hahaha just thought I’d mention that bit of useless information.
All the best everyone.
I owe so much to Brian. So much of what I have learned and apply to my own training and clients, comes from Brian’s writings, especially Zone Training. I wish he was still heading the IART, which really doesn’t exist anymore. It is great to hear from him again. He was one of the first in the HIT community to challenge some HIT dogmas, which continue to this day.
Always great to hear from Brian (coincidentally enough , i emailed Brian in December to see what he has been up to).
He is an independent thinker who has through the years challenged my own opinions and has helped me follow my own path.

For me: varying speed, varying exercises, throw some statics into the mix. Pay attention to feel. Achieving significant contractions.
